{"id":1449,"date":"2008-10-01T19:00:38","date_gmt":"2008-10-01T19:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dup.candelilla.org\/cms\/?p=1449"},"modified":"2013-08-06T17:04:14","modified_gmt":"2013-08-06T22:04:14","slug":"news-ends-ciqa-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dup.candelilla.org\/?p=1449","title":{"rendered":"NEWS &#8211; Ends CIQA Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ends CIQA Project for Optimizing Candelilla Wax Removal.<\/span><\/h6>\r\n<address style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"color: #888888;\">OCT. 01\/2008<\/span><\/address><address style=\"text-align: right;\">\u00a0<\/address>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>This last December the Center for Research in Applied Chemistry (CIQA) in conjunction with the Institute of Candelilla ended a major project related to the candelilla wax extraction efficiency.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One concern of the Institute has been to make the extraction process more efficient, and that is why we conducted this study that will implement a solvent extraction process by which gives 300% more performance than the current process.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This project reviewed two very important aspects:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1) As a first step, presented the conceptual engineering development of a pilot plant for the extraction and purification of candelilla wax.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2) As the second development stage the basic engineering of a pilot plant for the extraction and purification process candelilla wax.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is expected that this project helps to increase the presence of the candelilla wax in the national and international markets. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ends CIQA Project for Optimizing Candelilla Wax Removal.
